Hope Village is a self-sustainable community where orphans and widows will always have a place to call home.  Consisting of homes where up to 5 orphaned children will be raised and nurtured by a widow, Hope Village will provide a family for those who may have lost theirs to disease, violence and hardship.

Each child in the home will be in the Africa Mission Alliance sponsorship program, where they will receive a free education and medical care.  The mothers will also be trained in a skill which can provide additional income to the family.  These skills or jobs my include animal rearing, farming or tailoring.

In addition, Hope Village will provide a wonderful sense of community to the people who live there.  With a church, schools, community training center, medical clinic, sports fields, and a self-sustainable farm and market, residents will be encouraged to rely on each other for support and to meet each others needs.

The project has already built a primary school, kitchen, water tank, toilets and shelter which can be found in the south-western most square of this blueprint.  This school, Hilltop Academy, currently provides a free education to over 400 children.

Each dollar contributed to Hope Village will multiply and continue to grow for years to come.  By providing children with a good education and teaching women to provide for themselves through micro-finance loans, and trade education, these women and children will grow to become contributing members of society, who are no longer reliant upon continuing aid to survive.
