In sub-saharan Africa, more than 150 children out of every 1,000 under age 5 will die from preventable or treatable causes this year. There may be cures for their conditions, but they don’t have access to the necessary medication, treatment, or immunizations. Some of them die because their parents lack basic knowledge of nutrition, hygiene, and health care. 

Africa Mission Alliance works with families to ensure their health. This is so important because when parents are not healthy they can provide for their families.  And when children are not healthy they cannot attend school.
