DOUG SADLER - Director, AMA Canada
Doug Sadler is the founding Director of Africa Mission Alliance of Canada. His first trip to Rwanda in 2001 ignited a deep love for Rwanda and a passion to help needy persons there. On that trip, he met the founders of AMA and began to work closely with them.
Doug and his wife Carolin work with Youth With A Mission in Winnipeg, Canada, which allows them to integrate their own work with the work of AMA in Canada. Prior to serving with YWAM, Doug was a pastor and later a regional director for Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship. Doug holds two Master’s Degrees: one in Christian Studies from Regent College, Vancouver, and one in Teaching English as a Second Language. His work in training ESL teachers for YWAM takes him to many nations, but none of them have captured his heart the way Rwanda has.
In addition to her work with AMA, Carolin works part-time as a nurse and is published author of several books for youth. They have three children.
