Submit Story!

This agreement is between Africa Mission Alliance, Inc. a US non-profit organization  (and all its subsidiaries), and Author (a candidate in Africa Mission Alliance’s monthly writers’ competition).

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Author agrees to write a two to three page story about anything that is deemed acceptable by this story competition, and submit such writing by any means, be it electronic, email, SMS, hard copy and any other means possible.

PAYMENT:

Only one winner from submitted stories will be chosen.  Africa Mission Alliance will not pay any writer, except that a reward will be determined from time to time by Africa Mission Alliance and given to the winner of the month. Only African Mission Alliance and subsidiaries can determine the winner and their decision is final.

COPYRIGHT:

Africa Mission Alliance has the right to edit all of material and delete any copy or visuals deemed to be unneeded or impractical. and publish in part or in full any or part of the submitted story in one or many publications.  Every submitted story becomes the property of Africa Mission Alliance, Inc. with Africa Mission Alliance, Inc. owning the copyright.

It is agreed by both parties that all stories submitted by author for this competition is the property of Africa Mission Alliance. In addition to owning the copyright for the submitted copies, Africa Mission Alliance owns the copyright for all electronic versions that may be used. Author relinquishes “all rights” to both electronic and print versions of the work submitted for the competition.

If Africa Mission Alliance is required to bring an action to enforce this Agreement, Author shall reimburse the organization for all costs incurred, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, and reasonable costs of litigation. This Agreement shall be interpreted and construed in its entirety in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon.
